Kurt Frankenfield, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 18, 2026. Born on April 12, 1948, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Curtis and Mary Ann (Hildabrandt) Frankenfield.
A graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1966, Kurt dedicated over 30 years of service to H.T. Lyons, Inc. before retiring. He was also a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers' Local 19. Kurt enjoyed trap shooting, golfing, and traveling, especially vacations to Myrtle Beach, but above all he cherished time spent with his family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine V. (Bognet) Frankenfield.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jennifer Frankenfield, Bryan Frankenfield and wife Lisa, and Jason Carty and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Taylor, Peyton, Jordan, Gavyn, Lillian, William, Noah, and Ella; siblings, Peggy Gencarelli and husband Ray, Jeffrey Frankenfield and wife Sallie, and Frank Frankenfield and wife Kelly; along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.
Services: A Celebration of Kurt's life will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of the service. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sheet Metal Workers' Local 19 scholarship fund, 1301 South Columbus Boulevard Philadelphia, PA 19147.
