Kurt Michael Ross

Kurt Michael Ross, 42, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2025.
Kurt was born on February 5, 1982 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late David L. and Linda (Miller) Ross.
Mr. Ross was a self-employed construction worker, and he took pride in his craftmanship. When Kurt wasn't busy building and working with his hands, he enjoyed watching sports. He was an avid sports fan. If he wasn't watching the Pittsburgh Steelers or Penguins games at home, Kurt would be in attendance to cheer on his hometown teams. He also enjoyed the challenge of beating a new level in his video games.
More than anything, what meant the most to Kurt was the time he spent with his son, Jayden, his pride and joy. Kurt lovingly referred to Jayden as "Buddy", and Kurt will be sadly missed by him.
Kurt is survived by his son, Jayden Ross; his siblings, Tami (Bert) Derrick, and Jason (Jennifer) Ross; his nieces and nephews, Tyler, C.J., Kylie, and Tara; aunts and uncles, Nancy (Bob) Gasswint, and Gary (Linda) Ross; and the mother of his children, Dawn Watton.
In addition to his parents, Kurt is preceded in death by his daughter, Isabella Ross.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 6-7 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 46 School Street Pittsburgh, Pa 15220. A Memorial Service will be held following visitation at 7 p.m. at church.
