Kurt Jeffrey Schaub

Kurt Jeffrey Schaub, age 61, of St. Louis passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alma. He was born March 6, 1962, in Alma, the son of Keith and Nancy (Kirkey) Schaub. He was a 1980 graduate of Alma High School. He worked for General Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 2014 from the Saturn Plant in Tennessee.
Kurt enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very handy and loved woodworking, remodeling projects and restoring classic cars. He was an avid U of M football fan.
Kurt is survived by his son, Adam; his mother, Nancy; two brothers, Brad (Tammy), Jeff (Lisa) and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by his fiancé, Bethany Warner, her daughter, Casey (Christopher) Gillespie and their children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith in 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11 am at the Seville Community Church of God with his nephew, Pastor Bob Fall officiating. In honor of Kurt's love for U of M everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite Michigan or blue and gold attire to his service. Interment will be held at a later date in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 am until the time of services at the church.
