It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyle "Kyle Boy" Bertrand, who departed this world on December 30, 2025, at the age of 33 in Port Arthur, Texas. Born on July 16, 1992, in Nederland, Texas, Kyle left a profound mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
For over eight years, Kyle dedicated himself as the proud owner of Out on a Limb Tree Care, where he was known for his hard work and uncompromising pride in his business. His commitment to his craft reflected not only in the quality of his work, but also in the relationships he built with his clients. Those who sought his expertise were often greeted with a warm smile and a willingness to lend a helping hand.
Kyle was a man of many interests, a true outdoorsman at heart. He found immense joy in fishing and spending time on the water, often riding jet skis with friends and family. With a passion for cooking and grilling, he relished the opportunity to bring loved ones together around delicious meals. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he wore his team colors proudly and shared many spirited discussions about the game.
More than his accomplishments in business and leisure, Kyle was a devoted father to his daughters: Brooke Johnson, Jacelyn Little, Kambrie Bertrand, and Emersyn Bertrand. He took great pride in teaching them valuable life lessons, cherishing every moment spent with them. His fiancé, Danielle Emerson of Port Arthur, was his partner in life, and he held a deep affection for his mother, Darla Bertrand of Baytown, and mother-in-law, Stacey Emerson of Nederland. Kyle’s cherished memory will also live on through his beloved brother, Wesley Bertrand, and sister, Crystal Bertrand, along with a host of loving family and friends.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Bertrand, Sr.; his brother, Kevin Bertrand; his grandmother, Louwanna Arrendondo; and his aunt, Barbara Biggs.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, followed by the funeral service beginning at 5:00 PM.
