Christopher Allen Bertrand

Christopher Allen Bertrand, 46, of Oxford, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on December 24, 2025.
He is survived by his wife Colleen (Braddock) Bertrand and his two children Kaylee June Bertrand and Kameron James Bertrand, who were his greatest source of pride and joy. Chris loved his children dearly and treasured his time with them, whether sharing his love of music with Kaylee or watching football with Kameron.
He is also survived by his father Dan Bertrand (Janice Diehl) and his brothers Mike Bertrand (Katie Stapleton) and Brian Bertrand (Amber). Chris was preceded in death by his mother June Bertrand.
Chris had a passion for the outdoors and golf, which he skillfully combined into a rewarding career. He served as golf course superintendent at multiple courses, including Metamora Country Club, Sugarbush Golf Club, and Golden Hawk Golf Club, where his knowledge and dedication to his craft were evident to all who knew him.
Beyond work, Chris loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed snowboarding and was excited to see his children developing a love of winter sports. He found great joy in walking the dogs in the woods with his children and sharing his love of the outdoors. He also cherished the memories of many special golf trips with his dad and brothers, most recently to Myrtle Beach.
Chris's warm and engaging personality made everyone he met feel welcome. He had a deep love for his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
