Kyle Bettcher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kane Funeral Home - Sheridan on Jan. 24, 2026.
Kyle Brandon Bettcher, age 48, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 22, 2026, from a work related accident. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

He was born October 11, 1977, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Roger and Dixie Bettcher. He graduated from Sheridan High School and he attended a trade school in Denver, Colorado, where he was certified for HVAC. He had worked for JB Sheet Metal, Total Comfort, Powder River Heating and cooling and was currently working for Alpine Climate Control.

Family meant everything to Kyle. He was a proud and dedicated father to his children, Kayden (10), Alexus (13), and Mylee (18), and a loving husband to his wife, Teri Adamson. Time spent with his family was his greatest joy, and he built his life around being present for the people he loved most.

An outdoors man at heart, Kyle loved fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding dirt bikes. He also had a natural talent for fixing cars and working with his hands-skills that reflected both his curiosity and determination. Kyle spent 25 years in the HVAC industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, dedication to his craft, and his commitment to safety.

Kyle is survived by his wife, Teri Adamson; his children, Kayden, Alexus, and Mylee; his parents, Roger Bettcher and Dixie Bettcher (Ayles); his mother-in-law, Kathy Adamson; his sister, Stacie Bettcher (Kenny Rosalez); his sisters-in-law, Angela Redd (Justin Redd) and Samantha Minor (Ryan Minor); his uncle, Dennis Bettcher, and aunt, Janice Bettcher; his nephews, Colton Rosalez (Lilly Rosalez), Quinton Rosalez (Hope Porter), Zaxtyn Rosalez, David Redd, Codi Minor, Hunter Minor, and Wyatt Minor; his nieces, Mersedees Redd and Breeann Watson; his great-niece, Isabella Watson; and his great-nephews, Royal Watson. He is also remembered fondly by many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Those who knew Kyle will remember his strength, his love for the outdoors, and the way he always showed up for others. Though his life was cut far too short, his legacy lives on through his children, his family, and the countless memories shared with him.
