Kyle Ellis Burmaster, born on March 26, 1954, in Pasadena, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He led a life that reflected profound dedication to his God, his family, and his country.
Kyle worked as a mechanic for most of his life, a journey that began in childhood under the guidance of his father, Keith Alden Burmaster. Continuing the legacy, his stepfather further nurtured his mechanical skills. He also thrived in his career as a millwright, where his hands-on expertise was always appreciated.
Kyle was a proud veteran of the US Navy. His commitment to service exemplified his love for God and country, which resonated deeply in the values he instilled in those around him.
He was known for his engaging personality—Kyle was a talker who never met a stranger. Kyle's enthusiasm for life extended into his interests, particularly his passion for woodworking and his talent for striking up conversation.
Kyle is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Sparks Burmaster; his daughter, Krystal Burmaster, and significant other, Cory Stinnett; his son, Keith Burmaster, and wife, Wendy; his brothers, Kolin Burmaster, Kelly Burmaster, and Mark Riojas; his sister, Shelly McClain. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren, Zachory McClure, Rebekah McClure, Tessa Burmaster, Archer Burmaster, and his great-granddaughter, Brinley McClure.
Kyle was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Keith Alden Burmaster, Bobbie Jean Riojas, and stepfather Frank Riojas.
