Kyle Patrick Cabral, 41, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Leonard Cabral and Margaret (Mello) Cabral.
Kyle worked for most of his career as a chef, graduating from Johnson & Wales University with two degrees. He also served as a substitute teacher for the culinary department at Diman and worked for many years as a judge for vocational culinary competitions throughout the state of Massachusetts. Known for always wanting to help people, Kyle was the first to organize fundraisers for those in need and enjoyed volunteering his time for various causes. He served as a former volunteer fireman in Swansea and was a member of both the Diman Alumni and Johnson & Wales Alumni Associations. Kyle was known for making a great chicken Mozambique and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He was a gentle soul who didn’t have a mean bone in his body.
He is survived by his siblings Steven Cabral, Leonard Cabral, Joseph Cabral, and Terry Lynn Cabral; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings William and Shawn Cabral.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, from 5 - 7 PM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main S., Fall River. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kyle’s name to Forever Paws in Fall River. 300 Lynwood St. Fall River, MA 02721
