MECHANICSBURG – Kyle David Carmean, 67 of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Select Medical Hospital, Columbus.
Kyle was born on Oct. 22, 1957 in Marysville, Ohio, to Alfred "AJ" Carmean and Rosemary (Timson) Carmean.
Kyle was a man who deeply loved nature. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, hiking, bird-watching, and learning about flowers and herbs that grow in the wild. He was especially passionate about the beauty of nature and often traveled to California, where he hiked the mountains and spent time exploring the terrain around the Grand Canyon and the Gorge. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, arrowhead hunting, and took great pride in his beloved wolf dogs and his little wiener dog, Squeaker.
Kyle also had a love for music. He was always singing, always laughing, and had a talent for making people laugh. He spent the last five years of his life making memories and having adventures with his sister Natalie and special friends Deb, Angi, Armenthia, and his favorite local band, Outspoken. Kyle will be remembered for his joyful spirit, adventurous soul, and the love he gave so freely to his family, friends, and furry companions.
He is survived by his brothers, Tim Carmean and Todd Carmean, both of Mechanicsburg; his sisters, Natalie (Terry) Blakeman of Bellefontaine/Mechanicsburg and Regina Carmean of Mechanicsburg; his nieces and nephews, Jade (Blakeman) Stillgess, Ashlie Jenkins, Michael Cox, Nathan Cox, and Rachel (Henkle) Miller.
