Kyle Jay Ellis was born on August 10, 1988, in Sheridan WY to parents Jay and Heather Ellis. Kyle was a talented guitarist and multi-sport athlete. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 2007.
After graduation Kyle enjoyed exploring his beloved Big Horn Mountains as well as walking miles on Sheridan walking paths. His walking journeys took him to Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Washington and finally to Cody, Wy where his journey ended.
Kyle had a deep faith in God and read the King James Bible from cover to cover many times. We find comfort knowing that Kyle is now where he wished to be ~~ in Heaven.
Kyle is survived by his parents Jay Ellis and Heather (Lane) Vanderhoef, his son Nash Ellis, his sister Jenny (Brian) Legerski and nieces Madelyn Rose and Remington Ann.
He is also survived by his Grandmother Shirley Davis, Aunt Stacy Davis, Uncles Darren Davis, Marc (Debbie) Davis and Aunt Pat (Terry) Ashlock. Also surviving Kyle are stepsisters Alison Vanderhoef, Donna Vanderhoef and stepbrother Michael Vanderhoef.
Kyle was preceded in death by his Grandfathers Leicester Davis, Jr "Papa Doc", Sidney Ellis, Grandmothers Anne Sidwell "Gram Cracker", Willie Ellis and Grandfather Ken Sidwell.
