KYLE KENNETH MARCUM
Kyle Kenneth Marcum, 53, Centralia, MO passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Columbia Manor Care Center in Columbia, MO surrounded by his family. He was born March 17, 1971, in Rochelle, IL, the son of the late Kenneth Marcum and Jan (Boken) Marcum.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Zack Marcum and his wife Alex of Thompson, MO and Megan Marcum of Fulton, MO; his mother Jan Marcum of Centralia, MO; two grandchildren Paisley Marcum and Boden Marcum; several aunts and uncle; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his father Kenneth Marcum, his grandparents Russell and Arlene Marcum and Mabel and Pete Moland preceded him in death.
Kyle farmed north of Centralia first with his father Kenny and later with his son Zack. He owned and operated Marcum Farms and later owned the Napa Auto Parts store in Centralia, MO. He loved farming, drag racing and music. His favorite saying was “Farmer’s don’t work 8 to 5, they work until the job is done”.
A celebration of life will be 5:00 pm Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until service time on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the MFA Scholarship Fund or to the Central Missouri Humane Society, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
