Kyle Anthony Mayberry (Tony) passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Lynchburg, VA. He was born on July 1, 1967.
Tony worked as an assembly mechanic at SML Packing Solutions LLC. He had a deep love for the outdoors and music, specifically enjoying fishing, hunting, playing the drums, and listening to music. He also cherished the time spent playing online games with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Mayberry and Helen Mayberry along with his son, Eric Scruggs.
Tony is survived by Patricia Justis Mayberry (Nannie), his wife of 33 years; his daughter, Melanie Lynn Mayberry; and three stepchildren. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory on Breezewood Drive in Lynchburg, VA. The service will be conducted by Pastor Lonnie Wickerd on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please consider donating to your local humane society or animal shelter.
