Kyle Phillip Stoltz, PhD, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29th, 2023. Kyle was born on February 27th, 1993, to parents Gary and Lori Stoltz in
Stevens Point, WI. Kyle touched every single life he encountered, and could not be more of a loving son, brother, uncle, and boyfriend – whose kind and gentle nature inspired everyone in his presence. Saying he was a joy to be around is an understatement.
Kyle is survived by his loving girlfriend, Rachel Fehrman, Mother Lori (Koziczkowski) Stoltz, two younger brothers Nathan Stoltz (Kelsey Leikam) and Ryan Stoltz (Morgan Haase), and nephew Allen Stoltz. He is also survived by his Godparents Jan and Randy Kruzicki, and aunts and uncles: Mary Olander, David (Marcie) Koziczkowski, Ron (Sandy) Koziczkowski, Marie Kluck, Myron (Terri) Koziczkowski, and Debbie (Arnie) Kaminski – along with numerous cousins. Kyle is preceded in death by his father Gary Stoltz, maternal and paternal grandparents – Sophie and Henry Koziczkowski and Theresa and Philip Stoltz, Uncles Donald Stoltz, Andy Olander, Robert Kluck, and Aunt Laurie Berger.
Growing up in Stevens Point, Kyle enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his brothers. The three of them were always up to something – whether it be dirt bikes, four wheelers, go-karts, or just causing a ruckus. Kyle always enjoyed the little things, finding joy in anytime spent with his family. Despite being a little rascal at times, Kyle was also very studious, receiving high honors throughout his entire education. He attended Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools, graduating from Pacelli High School in 2011. Kyle then went on to study at UW-Stevens Point where he obtained a bachelor's degree in the biomedical science field and gained an irreplaceable group of friends. Kyle then furthered his education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where he met his soul partner and more amazing friends. On April 14, 2023, Kyle successfully completed his doctoral dissertation defense, earning his PhD in biomedical sciences. In addition to his dedication to science, Kyle had a passion for computer coding which allowed him to further his scientific repertoire as well as support his brother's business.
In his free time, Kyle loved spending time with his girlfriend, Rachel, close family and friends, and being an amazing uncle to his nephew Allen. Making sure to visit Milwaukee beer gardens every summer, Kyle enjoyed the occasional craft brew in addition to his Busch Light. An avid video-gamer, Kyle also enjoyed the outdoors and shared his love of sports, especially beersbee and spikeball.
Such a kind-hearted person, Kyle would drop everything to help out those that he loved. Kyle was free-spirited, always up for a good time and always had a contagious smile on his face. Kyle's compassion, love, and selflessness will live on in the countless hearts of family, friends, and loved ones that were blessed to be a part of his life.
Visitation for Kyle will be held at Shuda's Funeral Home in
