Kyle Toyne, 40, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother to his family.
Services for Kyle will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in State Center, Iowa. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in State Center, Iowa. Kyle James Toyne was born on October 9, 1983 in Rochester, Minnesota. He was the second of five children born to James D. and Kayla (Davis) Toyne. Kyle grew up in Clemons, Iowa and attended school in State Center in the West Marshall School District. He was active within sports at all times growing up. Kyle graduated from West Marshall High School in the class of 2002.
On October 6, 2007, Kyle was united in marriage to the love of his life, Megan Rabey in Latimer, Iowa. They called the State Center and Marshalltown area their home and began a life together and raised two sons Braxton and Trennen. Kyle worked for Terminal Solutions as a crane operator. Kyle was always active in his sons lives serving as a coach on their travel ball baseball teams and on the Marshalltown Football League.
In his free time, Kyle was a dedicated family man. He loved to play catch in the yard with his boys, go pheasant hunting with his dogs, Nash and Charlie, cheer on the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes, go on Jeep rides, kayak, fish and spend time traveling. One of his more recent hobbies was getting into the birdwatching scene.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Megan Toyne; his two sons, Braxton and Trennen; his parents, James and Kayla Toyne; his brothers, John (Rachel) Toyne, Jesse (Danielle)Toyne, Christopher (Kreslyn) Toyne and Justin (Nicholle) Toyne; his mother and father-in-law, Je (Steve) Muhlenburch; his grandparents, John and Jean Toyne; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dillon (Kristen) Muhlenbruch, Morgan (Logan) State, Abby Muhlenbruch, and Jack Rabey; alongside numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Doris Davis; great-grandparents, John and Mary Toyne; his aunt Janine (his sunflower); and his father-in-law Jerry Rabey.
