Kylene Kaszynski 44 of Peru. Passed away June 24, 2023, in her home.
Celebration of her life will be Saturday July 1, 2023, 12:00-3:00 PM in the Ptak Funeral home with a 3:00 service. Pastor Alex Garncarz will officiate. A private burial will be at a later date.
Kylene was born December 13, 1978, in Peru to Thomas and Gretchen (Meisenbach) Kaszynski. Kylene was a true scholar. She always loved school and learning. She graduated from L-P High School and ISU where she earned her Bachelor's degree in science (Sociology). Kylene was currently diligently working on her master's degree from ASU in Sociology and Psychology. She would have graduated in May of 2024. For her high standards she received many accolades. Her future goal was to start a wellness clinic, incorporating a holistic approach to drug addiction, body, mind, and spirit. She was currently interested in vibrational sound therapy meditation.
Kylene was an accomplished musician playing the flute, Piano, and guitar. Kylene was a singer of songs and was involved in band, choir, acapella and school musicals.
Kylene was a great cook and an avid gardener. Most of all she was a kind and loving mother to her son.
Kylene was a beautiful soul, so kind and loving caring, gentle, respectful, and sweet. She was soft spoken in voice and word.
Kylene lovingly parts from her son Collin Thomas Ward. Her parents Thomas and Gretchen (Meisenbach) Kaszynski of Peru and her sister Jolene (Brian Hartnett) Kaszynski of Indiana, 3 nephews Dylan, Rylan, and Julyan. 3 Nieces Corolyn, Emberlyn, and Lilyan. Collins half-brother Zachary Ward and Collins girlfriend Allysa Buckley.
Kylene was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Arthur and Irma Meisenbach and paternal grandparents Frank and Rose Kaszynski.
