Labon Pollock Jr.

Labon Pollock, Jr. was born in Orlando, Florida, on March 6, 1970. His parents, Labon Pollock Sr. and Helen Smith Pollock raised him with love and care. Growing up in Zellwood, Florida, Labon attended Apopka High School, where he laid the groundwork for his future pursuits. Labon developed a deep love for automobiles while working alongside his father at the family automotive yard. This early exposure ignited his passion for cars and the art of repairing them.
As an automotive mechanic, Labon Jr. dedicated himself to serving his community with unwavering commitment. He was known for his quiet and unassuming nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Labon Jr. was a man of few words, yet his words always carried wisdom and purpose, often serving as a peacemaker in any conflict.
His love for working on cars was evident in his everyday life, and he indulged in activities such as racing cars, playing dominoes, and enjoying a good game of bowling. Furthermore, Labon Jr. had a soft spot for classic Western movies, finding joy in watching them.
Above all, Labon Jr. deeply affectionately loved his children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. His legacy lives on through his dedication to his family, his passion for cars, and his genuine kindness towards others.
On Sunday, May 26, 2024, Labon Jr. answered his Master's call. He was preceded in death by Labon Pollock, Sr. (father), Helen Pollock (mother), Rosa Arnette (sister), Curtis Nock (brother), and Evelyn Pollock Maxwell (sister).
Labon leaves to cherish his memories his Sons: Jamal Pollock of Daytona, FL and Labon Pollock III of Zellwood, FL; his Daughter, Aiesha Lowe of Orlando, FL; Brothers: Reuben Nock (Loleta) of Orlando, FL, Jesse Pollock, Sr. (Sherieka) of Tavares, FL, and Marshall Pollock of Zellwood, FL; Sisters: Sharon Pollock of Orlando, FL, Helena Pollock Ricks (Stevie) of Zellwood, FL, Shevella Pollock of Mount Dora, FL, Barbara Pollock of Zellwood, FL, Avis Johnson (Willie) of Mount Dora, FL, and Latisha Pollock of Leesburg, FL; Grandchildren: Ka'Niya Griffin, Za'Niya Griffin, Ayden Griffin, Elijah Griffin; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
