Laci Marie Eads, aged 39, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family on April 10, 2023. Laci was born on November 7, 1983, to parents Jerry Eads and Kimmie Cullum in Kaufman, Texas.
Laci was always making everyone around her laugh and loved every moment of it, from the songs she would make up to the jokes that she would tell. She was also dynamite in a small package and would tell you exactly how she felt about you or a certain situation whether you liked it or not. Laci also loved her job at Brookshire’s, helping people and working hard were some of her favorite things. Laci was one of those special people who never met a stranger, she loved her family and friends and made sure every day they were aware of it.
Laci is preceded in death by her brother, John Greenhaw; stepfather, Wilmer Gray; grandparents, Pat and Jack Johnson; grandfather, Johnnie Cullum; grandmother, Barbara Shipley; and grandfather, O’Neal Eads.
Surviving to cherish their memories with Laci are her mother, Kim Gray of Tolosa, TX; father and stepmother Jerry and Claudia Eads of Kemp, TX; brothers, Dakota Eads of Kemp, TX, Jeremy Eads of Palestine, TX, and Phillip Ramirez of Kemp, TX; sisters, Tammi Perez of Tolosa, TX, and Jennifer Eads of Athens, TX; grandma, Rosario Meraz of Kemp, TX; great-great grandma, Martha Deatley; uncles, Kenneth Eads of Athens, TX, Bryan and spouse Leia Meadows of Seven Points, TX, Terri McGuire of Seven Points, TX, Greg Meadows of Kemp, TX, and Dewayne Eads of Mabank, TX; aunts, Cindy King of Garland, TX, Sherri Cullum of Seven Points, TX, and Karen Cullum of Seven Points, TX, along with numerous other friends and extended family.
