Bryan Scott Capehart, 58, passed away on February 18, 2026. Scotty was born on December 5, 1967, in Dallas to Ronald and Phyllis (Evans) Capehart. He graduated from Kemp High School in 1987. Scotty went on to attend Carl Albert State College (formerly Carl Albert Junior College), where he played baseball. Scotty dedicated most of his adult career to Blue Cross and Blue Shield where he built not only a profession, but countless life long friendships.

Scotty married the love of his life, Jenny Wilson, September 16th, 1989 in Kemp, Texas and together they built a life grounded in commitment, laughter, and shared memories. He was a devoted husband who valued family above all else and found his greatest joy in the moments spent with those he loved.

Scotty will be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest and worked tirelessly for all he achieved. He embraced each day with determination, heart and purpose, never shying away from hard work or a challenge.

He is survived by his wife Jenny Capehart of Allen, Texas; daughter, Jordyn Anthony and husband, Jeremy of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Sydney Capehart of Allen, Texas; son, Drew Capehart of Allen, Texas; granddaughter, Austyn Anthony; grandson, Hayes Anthony; father, Ronald Capehart; brother, Jeff Capehart and wife, Chelsea; In laws Ron Webb and wife Cheryl and many other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. There will be a private interment at Ridgeview Memorial Park.

The family will receive guests during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause close to the family's heart.
