LaDon Jones Obituary
A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert and Marion Bridwell DeShields, she was a graduate of Greer High School and a member of Church of the Good Shepherd. LaDon was a volunteer at the Greer Soup Kitchen, loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed coloring.
Surviving are two children, Tanga Moody (Tim) and Craig Allen (Sherry); two stepdaughters, Latasha Pruitt (Aaron) and Ladonna Manis (Scott); a brother, Barry Foster; a sister, Pandra Lemrow; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Kelly. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Greer Community Ministries, PO Box 1373 Greer, South Carolina 29652.
