A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of the late Glenn Thomas and Frances Jean Perry Johnson, he was a 1975 graduate of Greer High School, a retired employee of Builders 1st Source, and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Surviving are two nephews, Jason Johnson (Megan) of Greer and Eric Johnson (Stephanie) of Simpsonville; two great-nieces, Libby and Emily; three great-nephews, Brandon, Landon, and Charlie; and a sister-in-law, Valerie Johnson of Greer.
He was predeceased by a brother, Dale Johnson.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Jeremiah Oliver.
Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 410 S. Main Street, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
