Ted Green

Edgar Clark "Ted" Green, Jr., 87, of 1756 Abner Creek Road, Greer, South Carolina, passed away March 4, 2026, at his home.

A native of Greer, son of the late Edgar "Clark" Green and Eunice Glenn Green, he was a retired salesman and a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Peebles Green of the home; one daughter, Robin Green Smith of Greer; two sons, Dale Clark Green (Connie) of Greer and David Scott Green (Robert) of Lyman; two stepsons, Marvin Jeffrey Peebles of Milton, Florida and Joey Peebles of Greenville; his aunt, Veleda Green Hemphill of Greer; six grandchildren, Jonathan David Smith (Sarah) of Sumter, Benjamin Paul Smith (Melissa) of Greer, Patsy Green Owens of Greer, William Clark Smith (Katie) of Greer, Joshua Dale Green (Jessika) of Greer, and Jessica Smith Almond (Josh) of Lyman; two step-grandchildren, Tyler Peebles (Toni) and Shelby James Peebles (Cydney) of Alabama; eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.

Mr. Green was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Phillip Green.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Abner Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Donald Thomas. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the church.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Green, Shelby Peebles, Banks Smith, Mac Smith, Eli Smith, and Tyler Peebles.

The family will be at their respective homes.
