Confederated tribes of Grand Ronde tribal Elder, La Donna Terri Hembree (Norwest) 56 of Sheridan, Or, Walked on February 22nd in McMinnville Or. She was born December 31st, 1968, in Ketchikan, Alaska. She moved with her family from Ketchikan to the West Valley area in 1971. She attended Willamina schools, and graduated 1991 from West Valley Academy. La Donna worked retail at Seaway market and The Grand Ronde Shopping Center also Security at Spirit Mountain Casino. She loved to go fishing and was always ready to go on an adventure. She collected vinyl records, agates and liked to bead. She loved to drive up Spirit Mountain listening to Etta James and the Eagles reminiscing about family. She loved going to the river and being outside in nature. She is survived by her daughter Alisa & son in law Nick Mull of Grand Ronde. Son Michael & daughter in law Amber Rose Norwest of Gresham, Oregon. Brother Johnny Norwest of Lafayette, Sisters Shirley Norwest of Salem, OR. and Daniele Powley of Grand Ronde, Jackie Brown of Benton City Washington., and 3 grandchildren Kaywah Norwest, Sunny Mull & Hope Mull. She is preceded in death by her parents Marcellus & Sharon Norwest. Brothers Lonnie, Robin, Marcellus Jr, Andrew, John" Big John" Norwest, Lyle Johnson. Sister Carmen Norwest. Bollman's Tribute Center in Dallas, Oregon will be open for viewing from noon to 4pm. March 5th.A funeral service will be held at 2p.m March 6th at the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, Tribal Gym, burial at Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Cemetery.
