Obituary For Mrs. LaJoycea Condry
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. LaJoycea Condry
LaJoycea Thomas Condry, 74, of Tallahassee, FL, transitioned from her earthly home, Friday, September 20, 2024. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Mon., Sept. 30 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, with burial at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
Joyce was a native of Tallahassee, where she attended the public schools of Leon County, graduating from Leon High School in 1967. Upon graduating high school, Joyce would enroll and graduate from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. She would later receive her Master's degree in Mathematics Education.
She received Christ at an early age and joined Bethel A.M.E. Church, where she was a dedicated and active member of Stewardess Board No. 1 and President of the Senior Ministry. She was also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
She leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband of 46 years, Obie Condry, Jr.; two earthly angels, Sean and Gerod (Tara); two sisters, Lorna Thomas Saylor (Edward) and Valerie Thomas Owens (Daryle) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

You havre my sincere sympathy on the passing of LaJoycea. She always had such a heart warming way about her & her smile was so beautiful. I first met the family @ coc & then I would see you @ times in Publix. I´m so sorry about your loss.
