Lamar E. Malone

ELIZABETHVILLE - Lamar E. Malone, age 79, of Elizabethville, PA died February 15, 2026, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

He was born on October 27, 1946 in Pottsville, PA the son of the late Raymond Malone and Esther (Fessler) Malone.

Lamar was married to Peggy (Straub) Malone for 44 years.

Lamar was a 1964 graduate of Porter Tower High School. He retired as a supervisor from the former TRW.

Lamar enlisted in the US Army and served as security from 1964-1967 and was stationed in Germany.

He enjoyed hunting when he was younger, and was a car enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, his is survived by his son Matthew (Alyson) Malone of Lykens, daughter Sarah (Manuel) Zetina of Halifax, step-son Eric (Kara) Stiely of Elizabethville, step-daugher Angela (Lehr) Harner of Big Run, grandchildren Archer, Huntley, Sawyer, Hoyt (Samantha), Holden, Jordan, Lauren (Justin), Hayden, and great grandchildren Eveyln, Lincoln, and a brother James.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Lykens United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Zion Erdman Cemetery.
