ELIZABETHVILLE - Lawrence D. Miller, age 84, of Manheim, PA and formerly of Elizabethville died February 15, 2026, at home.

He was born on April 4, 1941 in Lykens, PA the son of the late Lester L. Miller and Minerva C. (Straub) Miller.

Lawrence was married to Sandra (Fry) Miller for 17 years.

Lawrence was a 1959 graduate of Tri Valley High School, and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 1963 at Penn State University, where he played varsity baseball and basketball, and was a member of the ROTC.

He retired as school teacher from Line Mountain High School after 28 years of service, where he taught physical education, health, and driver's education. After retirement he worked at Meckley's Limestone.

Lawrence retired as a Lt. Col. from the Air Force and served during Vietnam in active service, and later in Desert Shield and Desert Storm while in the reserves with the 193rd Air National Guard of Harrisburg, where he was a navigator. He was awarded the silver star and several other awards over the years of his service.

Lawrence attended the Worship Center in Leola, and was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville.

In addition to his wife Sandra he is survived by daughters Kim Corcoran (Mike) of Spring Grove, Wendy Jerrehian (Greg) of Harrisburg, son Andy Miller (Jess) of Spring Grove, step-sons Darren Graham of Ephrata, Trevor Graham (Wendy) of Ephrata, and step-daughter Tara Halligan (Matt) of Adamstown, six granddaughters Alyssa, Rebecca, Victoria, Olivia, Faith, Ella, and one grandson Drew, step-grandchildren Travis, Tyler, Danielle, Dalton, and Makenzi, and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Lester Miller of York, and a sister Anne Meckley of Mandata, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda B. Miller who passed in 2006, and his brother Jim Miller.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Elizabethville from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Private burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
