Lambert Ronald Ollari, 86, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, surrounded by family. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Robert V. and Ceserina (Barberis) Ollari.
Bert graduated from the former Cathedral High School in Springfield before earning both his undergraduate and law degrees from Western New England College. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1973 and went on to enjoy a distinguished career spanning more than three decades, advocating for clients across Western Massachusetts with compassion and care.
Bert loved spending time with family, especially if it was at their cottage in Goose Rocks Beach, Maine. He was happiest sitting on the deck, overlooking the marsh with a glass in hand, patiently awaiting deer to wander by. Those times were often shared with longtime friends and cherished neighbors. Bert remained deeply proud of his Springfield and Western Massachusetts roots and carried those strongly formed friendships throughout his life.
Along with his parents, Bert was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Richard Ollari, and his sister, Anita (Ollari) Powell.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Connie (Perlowski), daughter, Maria (Ollari) Cahill & husband David of Scituate, son, Christopher Ollari & wife Mary-Alice Abbott of Longmeadow, grandchildren, Samuel Ollari, Mia Ollari, Joseph Cahill and William Cahill, along with many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
A special and sincere thank you to all the caregivers and health care professionals at the Sosin Center for Rehabilitation who took such wonderful care of Bert offering comfort and compassion during his final days.
All are invited to Bert's Liturgy of Christian Burial on Monday, February 23rd, 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills, proceeding to his burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at StJude.org.
