Lamona N. Legeros

Legeros, Lamona age 89, of St. Louis Park, passed away peacefully on Orthodox Easter - Pascha, April 24, 2022, two days prior to her 90th birthday. Survived by her children, John (Susan) Legeros, Annette Legeros, Elena (Sean) Gabor, Tommy (Wendy) Legeros; grandchildren, Krysta, Alycia, Marina, William, Zoe, Nico. Preceded in death by siblings, Nick and Olga. Lamona was a lifetime devoted member of St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church and was active in many church organizations. She was a past president of Philoptochos and also the Sr. Citizen group. Lamona was a member of St. Mary's Parish Council, a Sunday School Teacher and a choir member. Above all, she was a loving and caring mother, yiayia, and friend. She will be deeply missed. Visitation 5-7 pm Thursday April 28th with 6:30 pm Trisagion Service at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th St. Edina. Funeral Service 11 am Friday April 29th with visitation beginning at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 3450 Irving Ave. South, Minneapolis. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
