Kerrie Rae LeGeros (Prevost) died on Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Fort Collins, CO from complications of pancreatic cancer.
Kerrie was born in Providence, RI on May 31, 1957 to the late Janice Prevost (Gibbons) and the late Maj. Albert Prevost. She grew up in Vermont and graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in 1975. Kerrie married the late Frank LeGeros on July 10, 1976. Kerrie and Frank had two children, daughter Kathy and son James. Kerrie worked as a medical secretary at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. Kerrie also worked for the Smithville Police Department in Smithville, TX as a dispatcher and administrative assistant before she retired in 2009.
Kerrie moved to Stafford, VA in 2012 and became a member of Pillar Church. She much loved her friends and community at the church.
Kerrie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Janis Urban (Prevost), and her brother Al Prevost. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Flanagan (LeGeros); son, James LeGeros; granddaughter, Marley Flanagan; and sister Laurie Holcombe (Prevost). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 1pm at Pillar Church of Stafford, 2726 Richmond Highway, Stafford, VA. A reception will follow at the church.
