Landon Alan Tanner went home to be with the Lord and angels peacefully Friday night, August 29th, 2025.

Landon was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 18, 2006, to parents Bryan and Mary Tanner.

He was a quiet and very loyal friend. He was often described as a gentle giant. He said he felt like a chameleon at times because of his diverse group of friends. He was smart; loved bowling, baseball, basketball, music, and of course, shoes.

Landon graduated from eStem High School in 2024 where he played on the baseball team for 2 years. He also spent many years playing for AKYB with the Arkansas Irish. He maintained excellent grades in school and could often be found working on schoolwork when away for tournaments. He was loyal to his teams. Landon was a sophomore, currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Landon was able to live his life to the fullest because of his strong community of coaches, teachers, family, and friends. He knew family was more than bloodline, it was people who were there for you when you needed them. In his time of need, he saw how special he was to all of us.

Landon is survived by his parents Bryan and Mary Tanner, his sister Mallory. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Romulo and Maria Buen, his paternal grandparents Richard and Laura Tanner. His uncles Randy Buen and R.B. Buen. His auntie Kristina Vanderwall and cousin Liam Vanderwall. His aunt Angela Tanner and a large extended family across the United States and the Philippines.

A visitation and rosary will take place on Friday, September 5th starting at 5:00 p.m. (visitation) and 6:00 p.m. (rosary). A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Little Rock on Saturday, September 6th at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Arkansas Autism Foundation.
