LaNeta Ann Snyder, 75, of Atchison, Kansas died on Friday, Feb. 14th, 2025, at Amberwell Health.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, Feb. 21st, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Marty Reed Officiating. Private family burial of cremated remains will be at a later time. Visitation with family will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran School Endowment Fund or the Trinity Lutheran School Grant Fund and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.
LaNeta was born on Feb. 10, 1950, in Smith Center, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer W. and Anna Maxine (Gordon) Landman. She graduated from Sabetha High School in 1968. She was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and worked in the former Atchison Hospital, and later for Valley Hope, Atchison. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). She also was a former Cub Scout Leader for Pack 94. LaNeta enjoyed walking, reading, her dogs, and attending all the grandchildren's activities.
She was married to Stanley Snyder on Oct. 17, 1971, in Sabetha, KS. Stan survives of the home, Atchison, KS. Additional survivors include two daughters Kristen (Brian) Smith, Yulee, FL, and Kara (Brad) Surritt, Elwood, KS, a brother Dean (Karlea) Landman, Topeka, KS, four grandchildren Kairstin (Kyle) Heckenbach, Jayden (Marissa) Watkins, Trent, Justin, and one great granddaughter, Hazel Mae. Her parents preceded her in death.
