Williamsburg – Lannie Day Satterfield, 71, formerly of Franklin, Virginia and Apple Creek, Ohio, passed away August 25, 2025 in Sentara Heart Hospital. Born in West Virginia, he was a son of the late Jack Jay Satterfield and Lelah Mae Cutlip Satterfield. He was also predeceased by his wife, Cynthia Gay Satterfield and a brother, Rick Satterfield.

Lannie served in the US Navy and was a truck driver.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Zachary Andrew Satterfield (Kalea) and David Lee Satterfield (Zoye); a sister, Robin Lynn Mahanes; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
