Larry Joe Adams, Sr., 70 of New Deal, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. He was born in Lubbock on July 31, 1955, to Joe Adams, III and Mary Ruth (Ramirez) Adams. Larry has been a long time resident of New Deal, where he served as a softball coach and bus driver. He enjoyed playing music. He married Mary Telo 53 years ago and together they started their family.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Mary Adams; children, Dora Chasco, Larry Adams, Jr., Sam Adams and wife Sandra, and Rebeka Adams; mother, Mary Ruth Adams; siblings, Nancy, Ricky, Manuel, Louis, Ernest and Suzy; twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Joe Adams, III, son, Matthew Adams, brother, Martin Adams, and sister, Linda Adams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas, with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
