Larry A. Allen passed away October 19, 2024 in Vernal, UT. He was born December 26, 1940 to Pearl Elain Barker and Lawarence M. Allen in Vernal, UT.
Larry served in the US Army from May 1st 1964 – July 31st 1969.
He married his sweetheart Carol R. Rowley March 31st 1965. They were blessed with 3 sons; Dale, Dean, and Ronald.
Larry enjoyed Hot Rods and Car shows. He was a jockey in his you. After retiring from 60 years of truck driving, Larry created Whimsical Iron sculptures.
He is survived by his children; Dale Allen, Dean (Cheryl) Allen, Ronald (Natalie) Washburn, sisters; Lillian Hamilton, Vivian Barson, Kathleen Beans, and 3 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his dear wife Carol R. Allen, parents, Lawerence and Pearl Allen, brother Loren Allen, and daughter-in-law Denice W Allen.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2 pm at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a visitation held 1 hour prior to service.
Burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 11.
