Larry Baber

Larry G. Baber, 76, died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Billy G. and Ruby Lemons Baber. He was a veteran of the United States Army, 82nd Air at Ft. Bragg where he was a Green Beret. He retired from the Avon Army Depot and was a member of the Moose Lodge #215 and the VFW, out of Lexington. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paris and enjoyed calligraphy and playing darts.
He is survived by two sons, Larry G. Baber, Jr (Susan Williams) and John Baber; one daughter, Sherry Baber; six grandchildren, Morgan Baber (Kelsi), Cameron Hobbs, Grayson Hobbs, Carter Queen, Spencer Queen and Graci Ballos; one great grandchild, Theodore Baber; a significant other, Donna Ballos and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Baber.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday, December 18th at the funeral home.
