BAILEY- It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry James Bailey on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Larry Wynn officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA. Larry faithfully served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating commitment and a strong sense of duty. Following his military service, Larry established a life in Gwinnett County, where he served the community with distinction, eventually retiring from the Gwinnett County Maintenance Department. His dedication ensured the smooth operation of county facilities for many years. A person of faith and community involvement, Larry was a former member of Union Grove Baptist Church, where he shared in fellowship and worship with friends and neighbors. He will be remembered for his service, strong work ethic, and dedication to both country and community. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Annie Laura (Bailey) & James Ottis Bailey and brother George Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Brazelton (Warren) Bailey, children Lisa & Ernie Stovall, Stephanie & Scott Cowdrey, Adam Bailey, three grandchildren Elijah Stovall, Nicholas Stovall, Emily Bailey, siblings Laura Bailey, Wanda Trojnar, Michael & Faye Bailey, Dennis & Brenda Bailey, step-daughter Julie & James Kelley, step-son Billy & Kim Warren, step grandchildren Maggie Kelley, Laura Kelley, Chloe Warren and Gabby Warren. A visitation service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home Lawrenceville, GA.
