Had the pleasure of growing up with Larry on Lake Avenue in Spring Lake. He was always level headed and IF I recall correctly, eventually worked for the Ottawa County Sheriff Department. Ran into him in a variety of locations over the previous decades and noted his friendly demeanor had not changed. I am certain he will be missed by all of his family members.

Sorry for your loss. Larry was the best and favorite trainee i ever had. We kept in touch almost every day even the day before his passing. He will be missed. Been to a lot of states and alot of story telling while truck driving. Truely a great friend.

I'm so very sorry to read of Larry's passing. We worked together in the Prosecutor's Office. Always a gentleman. Prayers for comfort.

I am glad to have been his good friend since high school 1962
And hung with him all these recent years since 2006 & 2016 class reunions!
He was a super friend and dad to you and Brian!
I am certainly mourning with you,
This very day with solid tears! You probably didn´t know this that Our Youth Group including Larry at First Reformed Church ( now Harvest Bible Church) , attended the Worlds Fair in 1965 Along with visiting United Nations With, Rockefeller Center, Marble Collegiate Church with Dr Vincent Peale in NY and East Harlem Church: what an experience at all black church!
I enjoyed helping him around the barn wood with barn wood and did some digging to create an orchard and trench work !Recently was great he went out to eat with Me on memorial weekend and he felt really good that´s probably a rallying moment!
I wish gods blessing on your family during
This difficult time in celebrating the Life of one dedicated First Responder and Officer!
With Christian Love,
Roger & Mary Anderson & children
