Larry Eugene Bishop

Larry E. Bishop (Cheeseburger), 69, unexpectedly passed away at home on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Larry was a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN.

He was a truck driver for 41 years before retiring. He was well known for his passion for racing. He was a loving husband to his wife of 51 years, and a dedicated father to many.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Carla Bishop.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Dinah Bishop, and children Mark (Mary) Bishop, Michelle (Jarrett) Choate, Madison Bishop and Mariah Bishop. His siblings David (Maxine) Bishop, Gail Swanson, Charles Bishop, Sharon Elrod, Dewayne Swanson and Terri Swanson. As well as a troop of grandchildren and great grandchildren: grandchildren Kayla (Jason) Nipps, Katie Hicks, Candice (Derrick) Blackwell, Savanna Bishop and Peyton Harden. Great grandchildren Davan Hicks, Ashley Hicks, Kayden Bishop, Jala Keller, Tanner Hicks, Zooey Blackwell, Kason Nipps, Jase Blackwell and Jackson Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Companion Funeral Home at 2415 Georgetown Drive NW, Cleveland, TN, with visitation from 12 noon to 2pm, and service beginning at 2pm. Burial will take place at 3pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
