Larry was born on February 10, 1948 and passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Larry was a resident of Maryland. Larry was a 1966 graduate of Walkersville High School. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972, with two tours of duty in Vietnam. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with Rev. Dr. Michelle Carlson, pastor of Mt. Zion Haugh's Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service. Prayers and comfort to the Blessing family, Bill and I both knew Larry and his family from Keymar, I grew up in Middleburg and met Larry at the Keymar gas station, he was the same age as me and I think he played cards with Bill.

So very sorry for your loss. Larry worked with my husband at Pots and Callahan in Baltimore and in later years for my husbsnd SKS Equipment. What a great guy, he will be greatly missed. Sorry we were out of town and missed the service. Anita and Steve ( Pine Tree) Kent
