Larry Boone, a cherished family man and dedicated employee, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 70 in his Wellford, SC home, encircled by the love of his family. Born in Greer, SC, on November 29, 1954, to Floyd and Vivian Boone, both who preceded him in death, Larry was known for his loving and wise nature. He shared a close bond with his late brother Keith, and raised a loving family, including his late son Kevin Boone, and leaving behind his adoring children Heather Staton, Janet Oliver, and Christopher Boone, as well as 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will miss their Papa dearly.
For 40 years, Larry was a steadfast fixture at Graf Metallic of America, exemplifying hard work and dedication. Outside of work, his world revolved around spending quality time with his family, igniting the grill for a cookout, sharing laughs over a beer, and indulging his competitive spirit with his favorite racing game. A loving daddy and papa, Larry was revered not only for his intelligence but also his profound wisdom, which he imparted to all he loved.
Larry's absence will also be felt deeply by his loyal dog, Chloe, who was more than a pet, but a true companion. His legacy of love and commitment to those he cared for will undeniably live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to have known him.
