Larry Bruner Obituary
Mr. Bruner was a graduate of Meade County High School and he was retired from the Brandenburg Telephone Company. Larry's loyalty to the University of Kentucky wildcats was unwavering. He was also an avid boater and he enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Carlton & Lillie Mae Claycomb Bruner; seven siblings, Charles Bruner, Thelma Dotson, Elmar Bruner, Howard Bruner, Jimmie Bruner, Audrey Stith and Dalton Bruner.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Bruner; a daughter, Shauna Dones & her husband, Brandon; a son, Eric Macomb; a stepson, Morgan Crabtree & his wife, Freya; six grandchildren, Jazlynn Dones, Rylee Macomb, Oliva Macomb, Jacob Crabtree, Kaleigh Crabtree, Olivia Crabtree; six siblings, Leonard Bruner, Doris Jean Farrow, Marry Ann Cox, Kenneth Wayne Bruner, Verna Lerma, Vernon Bruner; and a host of extended family & friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 and from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Bruner will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Pastor Donald Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Vine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Animal Refuge Center or Hardin County Animal Shelter.
