Larry J. Cheramie, 83, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on July 27th, 2025.
Mr. Larry is survived by his darling wife of 60 years: Jean LaFont Cheramie; son: Randal J. Cheramie; grandchildren: Michael Cheramie, Nadia Melancon; sister: Eurelda Burkette, Cindy Cheramie; and brother: Glenn Cheramie.
Mr. Cheramie was preceded in death by his sons: Ronnie and Keith Cheramie; parents: Adam and Louise Cheramie; and sister: Karen Plaisance.
Mr. Larry was an early bird and jokester that loved being outdoors. He loved working in his garden but enjoyed staying home and watching westerns. He worked for Metlife for 15 years and cared about people He was a pillar of his Catholic Community always attending Mass and was kind to everyone he met. He was a US Army veteran and member of the American Legion.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on Thursday, August 7th, 2025 from 9:30 until service time. Mr. Larry’s Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 with burial following in the Church Cemetery
