Larry Gene Cozad of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on February 24, 2021 at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr Cozad was born on August 7, 1956 in Lawton Oklahoma to Leonard and Velma Ahhaitty Cozad. His Paternal Grandfather is Louis Cozad and Paternal Grandmother Em-zau-ty (Blanche Chaddlekaugky). Maternal Grandfather is Harry Ahhaitty and Maternal Grandmother Lula Lonebear (Saitadlemah). Nine, brothers: Leonard Jr, James, Charles, Lewis, Daniel, Joe, Andy Vernon, and Rusty. Nine Sisters: Naomi Svitak, Marie Moses, Tiajuana Smith, Ora Ann Charcoal, Karen Pewo, May Cozad, Kathy Pewenofkit, Beverly and Leora Grace. He was the father of Julia Cozad, Frances Cozad, Ada Cozad, Cody Spottedhorsechief, Dana Maker, Alena Speakthunder, Lana Whiteshirt, Jamie Jon Whiteshirt and one Son Kiowa Charlie Cozad. Grandfather to Cecelie Marie Williams, Mannford Williams, Patrick Cozad, Hallie Cisco, Kristen Cozad, Sir Koval Willhoite, Vall Willhoite, Kaylen Willhoite, Aaron Cozad, Gene Cozad, Daybreann Whitehawk, Tatianna Spottedhorsechief, Tiyana Spottedhorsechief, Taylor Spottedhorsechief, Samantha Fields, Joseph Fields, Jacob Whiteshirt, Cedar Perrier, McCarthy Speakthunder, Seth Lookout, Jacey Lookout, Brandon Lookout, Jade Lookout, Charles Lookout and Etta James Lookout, Kayli Prairie Chief, Brycen Whiteshirt and "Princess" Mamie Charlene Cozad.
Larry is a descendant of Tohausan (Little Bluff-War Chief of the Kiowa Nation), Thou Goudle Kyap Tah- (Red Teepee), and Ei-Kei-pbay-Hodle (Kiowa Charley).
Proceeded in death by his wife Charlene Cozad, parents, Leonard and Velma Cozad, siblings, Joe, James, Naomi, Marie and Leora Grace. Grandson James Fields.
Survived by his children, adopted parents Kenny & Louise Scabby Robe, adopted son Michael Smith, Adopted brothers Chris White, and Jim Clairmont and adopted sisters Dianne Desrosiers.
