In Loving Memory of Larry "Joe" J. Crandall April 23, 1939 - November 11, 2025

With profound love and heavy hearts, the family of Larry "Joe" J. Crandall announces his passing on November 11, 2025, at the age of 86 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Born on April 23, 1939, in Southgate, California, Joe lived a long, full, and joyful life devoted to family, adventure, and the simple wonders of the world around him.

Joe was married for 65 beautiful years to the love of his life, Marlene Crandall, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, Kenneth and Vinora Crandall, and his siblings Robert Crandall, Carl Crandall, and Mary Laney.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Crandall, and his brother, Dan Crandall, his grandchildren: Rhiannon Fernandez, Keioni Melton, and Sara Ramirez and his great-grandchildren: Steven, Tyler, Selena, and Christian Fernandez; Alessa Melton; Hailey Knighton; Emily Melton; and Leo Ramirez.

He loved camping, traveling, boating, and restoring & admiring old cars. One of his greatest passions was stargazing, often spending evenings with his telescope scanning the night sky. He loved teaching his grandchildren about the stars, planets, and constellations, sharing with them a sense of wonder that will live on in their hearts. Joe cherished his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he loved each of them deeply and unconditionally.

Larry "Joe" Crandall will be remembered for his no b.s. spirit, his curiosity about the world, and his devotion to family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his love and the memories he created will continue to shine-much like the stars he loved to explore.

May he rest in peace, reunited with Marlene, and forever watching over the family he treasured so dearly.
