Larry Curry

Mr. Larry Robert Curry, 80 of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.

Larry was born on August 23, 1945, in Homerville, Georgia to the late Rubin Curry and the late Lucille Beverly Curry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rider Curry; brother, Billy Curry. Mr. Curry enjoyed attending truck pulling events as well as travelling. Larry was also known well for his sense of humor, and he loved to make people laugh. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons and their spouses, Randy Pollard (Wendy), Michael Pollard (Kelley), Steven Mann (Elizabeth); daughters, Robin Pierce, Sharon Thompson, Christine Smith; grandchildren, Brandon Pollard, Emily Pollard, Kaylyn Pollard, Currie Pierce, Christine Pierce, Jordan Thompson, Nathaniel Smith, Kelsey Smith; brothers, Charlie Curry (Connie), Carey Curry; sister, Ruby Cox.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel. Interment will follow the service at Whitewater Baptist Church now known as Crossroads Baptist Church, Brooks, Georgia.
