Larry J Cyment, 78 of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. Larry was born on January 7th, 1947 in Bronx, New York to Benjamin and Ethel Cyment.

Larry spent his early years in the Bronx and pursued his academic passions at Hunter College, earning a degree in Geology. But it was through his sister, Renee Glassman, that he met Harriett, the love of his life and his best friend for over 50 years. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two children and creating a home filled with laughter and love.

In 1977, Larry and Harriett relocated to the Tampa Bay Area, where Larry dedicated over two decades to his career as a hospital administrator. His work reflected his deep commitment to helping others and making a meaningful impact in his community. Larry was a proud member of Congregation Kol Ami and later Congregation Schaarai Zedek, where he actively participated in the brotherhood and found connection through faith and fellowship.

Known for his remarkable green thumb, and was able to make his personal gardens come to life with flowers and foliage that would make anyone who came over smile and appreciate his gardening skills. His humor was distinctive and always heartfelt, a gift he shared generously, brightening the lives of friends and family.

Larry is survived by his sister Renee Glassman; his son David Cyment; his daughter Samantha Cyment; and his cherished grandchildren, Steven and Sydney Cyment. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Harriett and his parents, Benjamin and Ethel Cyment.
