Larry W. Davidson

Larry Davidson, born on January 16, 1936, in Flint, MI, and peacefully passed away at 89 years old on March 24, 2025, in Fairhope, AL.
Spending most of his years in Michigan and Florida, he served six years in the Army and retired from the automobile industry in 2022. His last two and a half years were spent in the Whitehouse Fork community of Bay Minette, AL.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Earlene (Lindner) Williams and James Davidson; his stepfather, Jim Williams; his son, David Davidson; and siblings James and Don Davidson, Joan Elliott, and Richard Davidson. He is survived by his brother, Phil Davidson; his children, Todd Davidson (Donna) of Summerdale, AL, Celese Bankston (Alton) of Daphne, AL, and Melisa Bouchard (Ron) of Holt, FL; grandchildren Mackenzie Kelly (Matthew), Jacob and Jared Davidson, Justin (Erica), Matthew, and Thomas Bankston, Colton, Taron, and Makay Bouchard; great-grandchildren Kyle and Alexandra Bankston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Larry will always be remembered for his devotion as a father, his humor, hard work, and love for the outdoors. He will be greatly missed and warmly remembered.
A memorial service for Larry will be held at Alabama State Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, located at 34904 State Highway 225, in Spanish Fort, AL 36527, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm CST. A remembrance gathering will take place subsequently at Jubilee Baptist Church, 9264 Pleasant Road, Daphne, AL. *Please deliver flowers to Jubilee Baptist Church at 9264 Pleasant Road, Daphne, AL by April 1st.
