Larry Dooley Obituary
He was born September 29,1940 in Hannibal, Missouri the son of James Alvin and Alice Louise (Foster) Dooley.
Larry was a 1958 graduate of Monroe City High School, Monroe City, Missouri. He was a member of the Monroe City First Baptist Church, Monroe City, Missouri. Larry served his country in the United States Air Force. He previously worked for Monsanto of O'Fallon, Missouri. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and bowling. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He married Mary Theodosia Bush, she survives of the home.
Also surviving one son Karl Dooley (Debby) of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Two daughters Sandra Jobe (James) and Lynelle Smith (Jeffrey) both of Troy, Missouri. Seven grandchildren Amber Earnheart (Chris Nikolaisen), Jeff Fahle (Karen), Adam Fahle, Ashley Dooley, Kaitlyn Dooley, Shelby Williams (Richard) and Jackson Jobe; ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one step-son Charlie Fahle, one sister Alveta Jones and one brother Ron Dooley.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, January 05,2026 at the Garner Funeral Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Burial will follow at the St. Jude’s Veterans section cemetery, Monroe City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services at the Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Memorials have been suggested to the American Diabettes Association. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Online condolences can be made at garnerfuneralchapel,com.
