Larry Dotson, age 64, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 surrounded by friends and family. Larry was born on November 12, 1960, in Houston, Missouri, to Gary and Beverly Dotson. He attended school in Cabool, Missouri and graduated with the class of 1979.

Larry loved his family and his friends. If you were his, then he loved you and had your back. He loved hunting and fishing, get togethers with family and friends, and riding his motorcycles with his wife and with his buddies. Larry wore a tough exterior, and he was tough, but inside he had a huge heart that shined through. Larry loved life and he lived it with all he had in him and more. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Larry is survived by his wife Janet Dotson; his mother, Beverly Dotson/Bennett; his brother, Damon R. Dotson; his children, son Tucker Dotson, and step-daughter Stella Barr; grandchildren, Cecilia Dotson, Travis Dotson, Gabriel Dotson, Silas Ketchum, Lyric Barr, Wessa Glover/Corn; and great grandson, Christopher Glass, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Gary J. Dotson, and step son Clinton Glover.

Larry did not want official services, but will be honored with a "last ride" from his motorcycle friends. Friends and family will be notified of that time.
