Larry Drab Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations - La Grange on Dec. 19, 2025.
Larry Wayne "Butch" Drab was born on July 5, 1963, and passed away on December 17, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.
He began his career with the telephone company in his teens where he stayed for over 40 years. He was also a volunteer for the La Grange Fire Department.
Butch enjoyed the simple life – hunting, fishing, and the Super Bowl parties at the Michalka's. He loved cooking his chicken and dumplings and his famous banana pudding. If you couldn't find him, he was most likely at Adamcik's service station in his famous attire – Camo, jeans, and a lone star light in hand.
He will be remembered for living a simple life and always helping others. He will be greatly missed.
Butch is survived by his wife, Michelle Drab with whom he helped raise five children: Brandy Drab, Amanda Whited (Justin), Candice Drab, Errin Schneider (Josh), Christopher Morales. His beloved grandchildren Sarah, Christopher, Barrett, John, Dusti, Avery, Kynsley, Koralyn, Samuel and Conway.
Butch is also survived by his mother Dorothy Drab, brother Gary Drab (Lisa), two nephews Dillon Drab (Kendal and Everly) and Dustin Drab (Jessica, Emerson and Miles) and special friend Ann Steinhauser.
A family visitation will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations, 208 W. Pearl St., La Grange, Texas. Family and friends can view and sign the guestbook online at www.lagrangefunerals.com.
