Obituary of Larry Albert Eisenach
Larry Albert Eisenach (82), passed away Thursday March 24, 2023 surrounded by his wife and sons.
Larry was born in Greeley Colorado to Albert and Bertha Eisenach on July 8, 1940. He attended Eaton schools and graduated from Eaton High School in 1958. He found the calling of the great outdoors and working alongside his father on the family farm.
He met Wanda Burr his high school sweetheart and they were married April 9, 1961. This April they would have celebrated 63 years of marriage.
In 1978 Larry and Albert quit farming due to Albert's health problems. Later that year, Larry and Wanda moved to Eaton.
Larry was employed by Agland driving a fuel truck for 16 years. He then drove a school bus for Eaton RE-2 for 5 years.
Upon full retirement he enjoyed golf, trap shooting, and playing Snooker. He was also an avid reader.
The light of his life was his two Grandchildren, Courtney of Denver and Henry of Nebraska.
Larry was a life long member of St. Paul's Congregational Church where he served as a deacon.
Larry will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Wanda, sons Todd (Laura) of DeWitt Nebraska, Joel of Eaton CO and Troy of Westminster CO, his sister Sharon Wiedeman, Sister-In-Law Barbara Burr, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Bertha Eisenach, Glen and Pauline Burr, and his two brothers-in-law Robert Burr and Don Wiedeman.
Larry's Life Celebration will be held at St. Paul's Congregational Church on Tuesday April 4 at 10am with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
